At RichaCo, sustainability isn’t a checkbox. It’s how we do business thoughtfully, responsibly, and with intent. For over four decades, we’ve grown with a deep respect for the ecosystems and communities we work within. Today, as one of India’s leading garment manufacturers, we see it as our duty to drive the shift toward a more circular and resilient fashion industry.

Our Actions Speak
From raw material sourcing to final garment finishing, we continuously reimagine processes to reduce waste, conserve energy, and minimize our environmental footprint without compromising on creativity, quality, or scale.
01
Water Conservation
Recycled water is used in our wash units, and RO wastewater is reused for toilet flushing, saving up to 70% of freshwater in key operations.
02
Low-Impact Dyeing & Washing
From enzyme and tea-stain washes to our ozone-based indigo wash system, we’re constantly upgrading to reduce chemical use and discharge.
03
Energy Efficiency
Replacing fluorescent lighting with LEDs and upgrading air compressors have helped us lower our electricity consumption significantly. Boiler systems have also been upgraded to PNG for cleaner energy use.
04
Future Goals
A zero-discharge wash plant is currently in development, with
a target launch in 2026.
05
Smarter Design with CLO
Digital sampling through CLO minimizes material wastage, shortens development cycles, and reduces the need for physical shipments during design approval stages.
06
Certifications & Standards
RichaCo facilities are compliant with global standards including GOTS, Oeko-Tex, and Higg Index protocols.
07
Zero Carbon Roadmap
Installation of 1 megawatt rooftop solar capacity with a roadmap to cover all out existing facilities in solar by 2027
